The 'grassy asset' is the visual depiction of Grassy in Battle for Dream Island. It's a six-bladed grass with a curvy design that animates when Grassy is excited, causing the blades to wiggle. Additionally, the 'grassy asset' has a functional role in the series, as Grassy can catch other characters, as shown when he saved Blocky from a fall.

In its prototype version, the BFDI Grassy asset was yellow-green with a rough bottom and three blades. The asset was later redesigned in BFB with a round bottom, a different shade of green, and six blades, resulting in a wavier and curvier design.

Grassy's BFB asset is animated at times, much like Firey 's. Unlike Firey, however, Grassy's asset only animates when he is particularly excited. The top of Grassy can catch contestants, as he saved Blocky from hitting the ground after falling out of the tree in " Getting Teardrop to Talk ".
