Aug 28, 2020 · Is the texture size square and similar to like 512 x 512, 1024 x 1024 or 2048 x 2048? Could be that the compiler really wants square textures.

Mar 5, 2007 · EDIT: I can confirm that, when saved with ImageTool, the DSS texture displays properly - and the same as BMP (i.e., both much brighter than the same texture in FS9). I suspect the darker display earlier was due to the texture not being flipped and, hence, the wrong section of the texture sheet being displayed.

Dec 13, 2020 · I positioned one texture and then copy/pasted the texture with the pipet. In the console I do get one warning (well, the same for each texture): VFS Bitmap Loader | Can not find 'vfs://.....PNG.DDS' for reloading. Obviously the dots are a filepath. I don't know where to actually post this, since I don't know where it's going wrong.

Apr 30, 2023 · As Phrog stated, you need to open an original main.dds texture with DXTBMP, and send the image part to your editor. In your editor, overwrite the image with your repaint (eg. the tga from the paint kit saved as a bmp), save as norm.bmp (default) in editor, and reload the modded image back into DXTBMP.

Mar 10, 2021 · The funny thing is that the light map texture for the same building works. It is just the day texture that has issues. If I remove the building, then the airport compiles without issues. I am obviously missing something somewhere and it is obviously that the issue is with the texture, but I am at a loss! Can anyone point me where to look or try?
