Borden Chase (January 11, 1900 – March 8, 1971) was an American writer. Born Devin Borden, he left school at fourteen went through an assortment of jobs, including driving for gangster Frankie Yale and working as a sandhog on the construction of New York City's Holland Tunnel, where he worked with union leader Norman Redwood.
