Oct 8, 2008 · Both guns are accurate, but neither one compares to a nice 1911. Out of the box, the CZ has a nicer trigger, although I expect things to even out once I remove the mag disconnect. The overall workmanship on the Browning is superior to the CZ, but the slide to frame fit on my CZ is better.

The CZ 85 Combat adds a fully adjustable rear sight, extended magazine release, drop-free magazine and overtravel adjustment on the trigger. The Combat designation comes from the lack of a firing pin block safety, allowing the replacement of the firing pin without tools.
