The Cardiohelp System is a compact system that pumps blood through an extracorporeal circuit during partial cardiopulmonary bypass or temporary circulatory bypass for periods lasting less than 6 hours.

The Cardiohelp System can support cardiac and / or pulmonary function using either veno-venous or veno-arterial ECLS. When paired with optimized ventilation techniques, the Cardiohelp System provides adaptable treatment for a variety of conditions.

Getinge ECMO systems are small and lightweight heart-lung support systems. Although Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) is not a therapy itself, it acts as a bridge to further treatment, recovery or transplantation.
