Jun 14, 2021 · I have a 2015 Caterpillar 289d cab machine with hi-flow. Brush cutter is a wolverine 72" normal flow. I press continuous hydraulic flow switch and proceed to lock it in with the thumb roller switch on right joystick. Mower starts, but slows way down, and sometimes will even stop when trying to cut.

Nov 20, 2017 · Are you working on a 289D the same as the OP was.? If so please post a Serial Number. It makes finding info far easier seeing as there are 11 different models of 289D. Also post a photo of the panel located in the upper RH corner of the cab. There is a chance you could be able to access Diagnosti Codes which would be a great help.

Apr 28, 2017 · Put a gauge set on it. Static pressure on A/C at room temperature is approximately 70 PSI. We've found that most Cat gear doesn't hold an A/C charge well over our -35 winters to begin with.

Aug 7, 2023 · Replaced the alternator as it tested bad and I am still getting the E441-1 & E875-2 codes. Cleaned all the connectors to the alternator and the power wire going to the battery. Cleaned the battery terminals as well. Tested the battery and it reads 12.47v. Tested the battery with the machine...
