As a recognized student organization at IUP, the Catholic Student Association (CSA) exists to deepen faith and commitment to Christian discipleship, and strengthen a sense of belonging to the communion of the church for all Catholic students of the university.

Their mission was to provide Catholic students with opportunities for Christ-centered social and educational growth that might otherwise be lacking. In 1927, the number of Catholic students attending Indiana Normal School (soon to be Indiana State Teachers College) was growing.

The Catholics of this diocese, priests, deacons, religious and laity, work together to live out their baptismal call to proclaim, in word and action, the Gospel of Jesus, handed down to us through Scripture, tradition and the magisterium of the church.

Centered around the Eucharist, we are a diverse, faith-filled parish of the Diocese of Greensburg blessed with a special call to minister to our parishioners as well as the entire Indiana University of Pennsylvania community.
