Central Southland College is a co-educational State high school which provides excellent teaching and learning for 500 students from Year 9 to 13. We expect students to set high goals for themselves and work hard to achieve them.

Central Southland College opened in 1965, and is situated in a quiet corner of the town. We are co-educational and offer courses from Year 9 (age about 13) to Year 13 (age about 18). Our roll is approximately 580. CSC is rated as Decile 7 by the Ministry of Education, for funding purposes.
