The Chained Boss is a slow and tanky boss, similar to the Slow Boss. It has far more health than many enemies that come before it, but is also slow, making it a shield for enemies behind it. The Chained Boss only appears in Golden mode, which is locked behind Sandbox mode.

Sep 18, 2021 · That's a chained boss, an enemy which replaced slow boss/giant boss on the removed golden mode. I'm guessing you were playing with someone that had admin commands, as the chained boss no longer spawns on any gamemode.

The Golden Chained Boss can be spawned by the Mystery Boss upon its death on Golden Mode's Hardcore wave 42 onwards. It can be summoned by the Gold Boss.
