Its Proviso Freight Yard, located 12 miles (19 km) west of the city center in suburban Cook County, was constructed between 1926 and 1929 and remained the largest such in the world, with 224 miles of trackage and a capacity of more than 20,000 cars.

Jul 18, 2019 · OMAHA, Neb. — Union Pacific confirmed today that it has shut down the hump at Proviso Yard in Chicago and curtailed operations at several other yards across its system as the railroad reduces the number of times cars are handled en route.

I am doing some research for my upcoming model railroad which will include a shrunken down version of Proviso yard set in 1993. I understand they had 66 tracks coming off the hump. Does anyone have information on which destinations or blocks were assigned to those 66 tracks?
