The M16A4 is a burst firing assault rifle featured in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Nintendo DS), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Heroes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and briefly in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The M16 is fully-automatic in the campaign, similar to M16A4 in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It is the starting weapon in "Operation 40", where it is equipped with an ACOG Scope and M203 Grenade Launcher.
