Aug 28, 2022 · masking is def the way to go! I have 2 brand new baby cousins who arrived last week, so even if the con rules didn't require masks I'd be doing it. I refuse to be the family member who brings covid or crud of any kind back to them :D Also, the mask requirement actually gave me the idea for one of my cosplays.

Sep 6, 2023 · No COVID/con crud yet, but I feel like I got hit by a bus lol. I had a bad asthma attack Saturday, and I think the combination of all the medication and not eating a single vegetable all weekend caught up to me.

We who attend science fiction conventions call this Con-Crud. You’ve been in contact with a lot of people from a lot of different places, probably didn’t get enough rest and ate and drank in excess. Give yourself a little extra care (extra hydration, rest, and OTC meds if needed) and in a few days you should be fine.
