Jan 6, 2021 · Regardless of what the wiki says, the most we know is that Crimson Riot has a hardening-type Quirk similar to Kirishima's. The one panel in which we see Crimson Riot using his Quirk is to harden his hairstyle, and that's it.

Aug 2, 2016 · Maybe he was brought up to simply give context to the name "Red Riot", but it also seems like the kind of subtle set up for a Hero that actually holds some significance in a future story line. AFO plan to find a new quirk for shigaraki means you can be given some amount of additional quirks with out being nomoud’ so I think Crimson Riot sought power in AFO and became Giganto. Any additional evidence would be nice this theory is still fresh.

This also seems a tad bit too convenient which makes me wonder why'd they draw the pointy hair into the anime instead of just placing a regular rounded head generic-looking villain.

It also suits as I guess Crimson Riot might have more in league with All Might, he is a classic (retro) hero and gallantry also has more of a association with higher class.
