TSI - General Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS) 3938
The SMPS™ 3938 is component-based, allowing users to customize their SMPS to match their experimental needs. Users may choose among four Differential Mobilty Analyzers (DMAs ), six Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs ), and two different neutralization techniques , enabling measurement in the range from 1 nm up to 1 µm.
Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs) are used to measure total number concentration of an aerosol, while Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS) spectrometers are used to measure size distributions of aerosols. CPCs function by counting individual particles and outputting a particulate concentration.
The Model 3938 scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS) used by the U.S. Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility measures the size distribution of aerosols ranging from 10 nm up to 1000 nm.
TSI - Differential Mobility Analyzer 3083 - TSI.com
A Differential Mobility Analyzer (DMA) is the key component for particle sizers like SMPS™ which are used to perform particle size distribution measurements. The model 3083 is designed to cover a size range from 10 nm to 800 nm in a single scan.
U-DMA option: Easy conversion of DMA classification length.
TSI - Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer Spectrometer 3936
TSI's SMPS™ Spectrometer is widely used as the standard method to measure airborne particle size distributions. These particle sizers are also routinely used to make accurate nanoparticle size measurements of particles suspended in liquids.
TSI 3034 SMPS Operation and Service Manual | Manualzz
The 3034 SMPS consists of a Differential Mobility Analyser (DMA), a Condensation Particle Counter (CPC), and a Kr-85 Aerosol Neutralizer to measure the size distribution of fine particles in the range of 10 to 487 nanometers.
In this article, we examine electrical mobility measurements conducted on these candidate RMs in step-voltage mode, the calibration of the DMA by 60 nm polystyrene standard reference material (SRM) 1964, and a quantitative uncertainty budget.
GRIMM Aerosol Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer System | ET
An SMPS+C (Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer + Condensation particle counter), is a CPC with a device called a DMA column on the front. The DMA column uses a variable electric field to only allow particles of a certain size range to pass through for measurement at the CPC.
