There are types of logos: the primary corporate logo and secondary logo. The corporate logo is used in letterheads, on business cards, and in other corporate forms of communication. The primary logo comes in three variations: in colour (DTU red), in white (negative), and in black.

The old identity was created before DTU had become a master brand. It was developed primarily for print media, and later adapted to the world of digital media. The updated visual identity reflects the brand narrative and meets the visual demands of modern digital media.

DTU colours are either primary (corporate) or secondary colours. The secondary colours consist of a bright 100 % colour with four tints. These colours should stand alone and not be combined with other secondary colours. Below are codes for the various colour modes (RGB, CMYK, HEX, Pantone, and RAL).

It is imperative that the DTU logo always appears prominently and visibly on all material. This means that you must use the logo in a light colour or in negative dark on multicoloured backgrounds. DTU logo combined with ‘describer’. The DTU logo is always positioned in the upper left hand corner.
