Mar 23, 2023 · I really doubt that there will be a FLX8. The FLX6 is sold at the price point that the DDJ 800 / SR2 sold for. The XDJ RX3 has the same features as the DDJ 800 but is stand alone and probably the closest product from a features standpoint to the DDJ 800.

It's made for a different target. The spiritual successor of the DDJ 1000 is the FLX8, at a very similar price point.

Jun 3, 2023 · Currently using a DDJ-SR and I'd like to upgrade, but the DDJ 1000SRT is just a little too big to be a real portable controller which is what I need it for. The DDJ-800 looks perfect in terms of size, jog wheel quality and XLR outputs.
