Love this blower, use it all the time. Had it about 18 months, i think. Had trouble locating purchase receipt so it may be out of warranty, but regardless, I’m hoping to fix it myself.

Sep 3, 2013 · Just wondered if anyone has had a problem with there DCL040 blinking after long use? I love the flashlight but after a while it heats up and begins blinking. The solution is to turn if off and let it cool down. Has anyone else had this problem?

Jul 4, 2017 · If they cost so much more than other HF tools and compare to DeWalt in terms of performance, they must be super premium by Harbor Freight standards and far surpass all of the off-brands and cheaper brands sold elsewhere for the same price. I stalked a DCK286D2 kit for a few weeks while in Drill Sergeant School last year.

Dec 29, 2013 · Took the charger and two batteries to the local DeWalt service center, and all tested fine. Even plugged in the charger with each of the batteries, and could not reproduce the fast-blink issue. Got everything back home, and all seems to work fine. At this point, it's a mystery as to why I got the initial fast-blink.

Dec 21, 2011 · One 10" Dewalt slide nicely, while the 718 and 780's available to touch were pretty rough, although I don't think they were as rough as mine. By comparison, the Hitachi, Ryobi, Bosch, Makita, Ridged, Lowes house brand, etc., all slide like butter....

Apr 4, 2018 · We have one and drill 3/8 to 5/8 holes with it all the time and I've done up to a 1"x10" deep hole with no problem. Side by side with my m18 2712 fuel 1" sds rotary hammer, the dewalt is slightly faster.
