Mar 7, 2021 · The ability to use OfA is really the deciding factor, and there experience should give Deku enough of an edge to match Bakugou's natural combat talent. I think Deku takes at least 5/10 if not more, unless OfA amps explosion beyond a 100% smash.

Aug 12, 2017 · Deku was unable to use anything but 100% before the Sports Festival. The attacks against Todoroki that messed up his hand were 100% attacks, the ones that didn't were 5% attacks. When he says something like "it hurts, but it's fine", that means that his control over the 5% attack wasn't perfect but still enough to not really injure him.

Feb 6, 2023 · Yeah obviously if Deku used 100%, he'd obliterate Bakugo in an instant, but Bakugo is just barely stronger than Deku at 8%, or at least he's still a better fighter to make up for whatever different there is between him and Deku.
