At the age of 17, Delcinea Lutes accepted a music scholarship to the Hartt School, a prestigious performing arts conservatory in Connecticut. There she met Matt. Matt Plenk had grown up more than 3000 miles away, in Lindenhurst, New York on Long Island.

Mezzo-soprano, Delcinea Lutes grew up in Portland, Oregon, immersed in music, dance, and theatre. She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at the University of Connecticut, while pursuing additional pedagogical training with the Voice Foundation and the Northwest Institute of Voice.

Delcinea Lutes is beyond excited to be returning to musical theatre and making her Ovation West debut in Godspell. After growing up in Portland, Oregon and spending about a decade in Connecticut and New York studying classical voice and working in arts administration, she is very proud to now call Colorado home.
