Jul 30, 2020 · Is there any way to liaise with the DWP by email for ESA/UC? I used the PIP Alternative Formats Unit in 2016-17 entirely by email and they were actually civilised. I am deaf and I don't use the phone and can't sign well enough for signvideo. Also, can anyone recommend a good benefits checker.

May 24, 2012 · As far as I am aware, the DWP do not communicate with customers using email at the moment, certainly, anything in this area would require seperate authentication, as is done by HMRC for the self-assessment tax online system, to be safe. If you think there are risks with your post, they are nothing to what can happen with a mis-directed email.

Nov 19, 2024 · It will go through a couple of steps to be put in a mail sack to leave a building and get taken to a post office - that's why it generally takes so long for things to arrive. They don't email out such information. You won't get any joy from your local postal depot because it won't have been sent from the DWP with any trackable information on it.
