Dec 30, 2024 · What a difference from the stock FN trigger. 1.5-2" groupings at 100 yards. Moved over to the 300 yard range and was ringing steel. First stage just under 2 lbs, second stage 3.5 lbs. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Sep 7, 2024 · I have built several pistols with their uppers and they are GTG. I have also had great experiences with the Lingle lowers. Any spare SCAR parts can be hit or miss. Barrels I recommend many of the used part auctions / forums. Shooting Sight normally has the barrel screws and the supports come into stock every so often. Good luck with your project

Feb 16, 2025 · The SCAR 17 scratches that itch, allows me to go out a little longer (expect to be moving this spring, and the new area has a great 1,000 yard range close enough that I'll actually use it.) This doesn't mean I can't come back and get a 16 later on, but "scratch the itch" first.

Aug 11, 2024 · I run a DeadAir Muzzle Break with a DeadAir Sierra 5 on my FN Scar 15P SBR in competition. I also put a FN Scar 16/17 folding stock, and a Geissele SuperScar Trigger with a Trijicon VCOG 1-8x USMC SCO Optic on it. I generally run Hornady Black 62 gr FMJ as it has a consistent velocity of 2330-2345 on this configuration.
