This is a model of the Faun Goliath 8x8 in the colours of ALE (Abnormal Load Engineering). The real truck was one of three manufactured in the late 1980s for the movement of heavy transport loads in the UK.

The trucks were later painted red, white and blue and served the company well. In 2003-04, Alstom purchased an Alvis Unipower 8x8 unit, one of the most powerful trucks seen in the UK.
