Sep 12, 2012 · FMIC does make it a little easier to work on the car since you don't need to remove TMIC to work on items. FMIC require you to remove, cut or "replace" your crash beam. So what would have been a little accident is now a big accident if you hit something FMIC you may or may not be able to keep fog lights and intake. Depending on model.

May 17, 2005 · You won't get the gains of an FMIC with a TMIC due to size and location. FMIC's dull down throttle response (i.e. if you take a quick jab at the throttle while at idle, it takes a split second longer for the engine to respond) due to the extra piping involved, but the power is a great deal more urgent than with a TMIC when it arrives.

Aug 26, 2012 · Not much of a point going from a 2.5 inch turbo discharge to a 2.0. But if you had a 2inch discharge I dont see it hurting anything staying 2inch on the hot side. Making the piping in the uppipe smallish and keeping oem sized exhaust runners would make a faster spool than say some of those popular "name brands".

May 1, 2016 · The only issue i see with these 'ebay' FMIC's are that the intercooler core itself is smaller than lets say a $1000 fmic kit such as a treadstone/ turbo xs/ perrin etc.. If you notice a brand name quality intercooler core on lets say a blob eye wrx, all you see are the fins of the core and endtanks are not even visible , so you know that thing ...
