Feb 4, 2008 · Naturally, I had to cut some of the frame of the car to fit the intercooler in. not the actual frame, but the sheet metal that sticks out under the passenger side headlight. the driver side required no modification. there is also about 3/4 inch of flat sheetmetal coming off the passenger side of the radiator, which I had to trim also.

Dec 1, 2009 · My car has not been building boost properly. I have 15g turbos paired with a fmic on a recently rebuilt motor so I know I should be able to do 20psi pretty easily. I have noticed in the morning I can do a good pull in 4th gear and it will easily hit 20psi no problem. However, if I were to drive the car later in the day I'll be luck to hit 16psi.

Sep 3, 2005 · Well i figured something out. I put a little water wetter and the idle was fine. I had the hood open though, so keep that in mind. I drove the car around a little without the ac and the car ran fine. I put the ac on, and only on the first setting. The car was still fine. When i put the ac on the second setting, the car overheated very fast.

Nov 16, 2004 · My FMIC Flows 1200CFM at the same presure drop, and cools the air to around 80-100* in the summer. Stock temps are generally around 130-140. Not all FMIC's are 2-3 grand, Mine was 1100, and now they sell for around 1300.

Aug 22, 2007 · he bough a big ass FMIC and we custom mad the pipes. the IC and pipes were an universal kit from ebay. we got it all hooked up and we had a problem. the car ran slower.... theres a sensor on the old SMIC and we left it un attached. could be the problem, what is that sensor. also, after we put the FMIC on the boost guage ead 15psi.
