Buxa Fort (Bengali: বক্সা দুর্গ) is located at an altitude of 867 metres (2,844 ft) in the Buxa Tiger Reserve, in the Kalchini CD block in the Alipurduar subdivision of the Alipurduar district in West Bengal, India. It is 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Alipurduar, the nearest town.

Buxa Fort is situated in the district of Jalpaiguri of West Bengal at a high altitude of 867 metres above the sea level. The Fort is followed amid the dense forest with exotic viewpoints 30 kilometres from the township of Alipurduar.

Built centuries ago, the Buxa Fort came under the British India after the 2nd Dooars War (1865) between the Bhutan and the British. It has parallel histories. It is believed that during the China- Tibet disturbances back in the 19th century, many Tibetan monks hid at the fort.
