Jan 6, 2014 · Does a full moon really help with the walleye bite because I've heard that the big ones bite on a full moon. SO I went 4 times this Year on Open water. I went somewhere between 3 days before and 3 days after on all 4 trips and never got a walleye but catch them not stop when theres no moon.

I received today and am second guessing as it is an extra bit of time setting up and taking down. Any issues in the wind with the full door as long as you face it on the downward side of the wind?

Jan 11, 2010 · Went smelting last night at riversbend. We got 156 in our 4 man shack. I have yet to figure out how you can have four people in a shack and 90 percent of the smelts come from one corner of the shack. jsibley caught a pile of them and then let my 8 year old take his line for the last three hours so he could catch a pile also.
