Portals are special objects in Geometry Dash, Geometry Dash Lite, Geometry Dash Meltdown, Geometry Dash World and Geometry Dash SubZero. They modify how the level is interacted with as well as change the icon into different forms, each with unique gameplay and design.

In this mode, the player takes control of a flying ship, which may navigate around obstacles while it's in the air. Additionally, the ship can alter its gravity and shrink or enlarge itself. The game features multiple difficulty levels, each with its own unique song.

The dual portal affects parts of the cube, the ship, and the ball. Both parts of the ship are the same, so you can usually focus on one while the other stays out of harm's way. Both the cube and the ball have two parts that aren't the same size, so both need to be watched.

OuterSpace starts with normal-speed cubes, where players pass an icon-like face at 2%. At 10%, the player enters a double-speed ship sequence with various speed adjustments and minimal hazards. The first user coin appears at 14%, along with the message "VIPRIN IS TRIGGERED."
