Game Designers' Workshop (GDW Games) was a game publisher active 1973 through 1996. Originally established to publish the Europa Series of World War II board war-games, it expanded to other wargames, science-fiction games, and ultimately role-playing games.

Apr 5, 2014 · This list definitely brings back memories! I did my part to help keep GDW afloat, and was disappointed to see them fold. While I mostly played their roleplaying games (T2K, 2300, TNE), I had a lot of respect for their boardgames and picked a few up. It was sometimes hard to find others to play a GDW game with, because of the complexity.
