Oct 28, 2023 · At least in benchmarks (Geekbench 6), mine returned: 908 and 2806 for the CPU test, and 2431 for GPU. My Air 3c in comparison scores 346, 1203 and 320 respectively. The Pro results were however accompanied by a warning that "the results may be invalid due to a problem with the timers on this system".

Feb 28, 2020 · Geekbench is a burstier test (because it is, really, a bunch of little tests back to back), while Cinebench puts a more continuous sustained load on the CPU. The i7-1065G7 does better in short bursts, but it becomes power constrained faster due to the 15W TDP while your i5-8279U has a 28W TDP that lets it turbo boost for longer.

Dec 29, 2023 · One can chalk the disparity to funky RAM, as Geekbench reports it to be operating at 1,594 MT/s, which is painfully slow for even DDR4, let alone DDR5. Additionally, the Ryzen 9 8945HS is throttling a little, with its peak CPU clocks hovering around the 5.16 GHz figure instead of the advertised 5.2 GHz.

Try adding geekbench to the game center, open geekbench, swipe for gaming controls (top right corner) turn on performance mode and run the benchmark again. Also before running the benchmark, go into settings, apps (turn on "show system apps" from hamburger menu on top right), search for the app named "Joyose" force stop it then run the benchmark!.

Jun 17, 2024 · Per emulation - A lot of things work and a lot of things don't. Works: Steam Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 (performance is odd - no matter if I'm running 1280x800 or native 2880x1800 it gets 60-80 fps with dips to 30 during firefights, indicating some kind of bottleneck)
