The Hirom Glass Violin is a product of Hario Glass Co. Ltd., Japan. Each violin is hand-blown from a single piece of sturdy, heat-resistant glass and is individually numbered with a unique number and hand painted.

This circa 1870 "Glass" fine violin by August Friedrich Glass of Klingenthal has a good, warm tone. Stamped “GLASS” on the outside of upper back, it is finished in a very dark color with few lightened areas on table and back.
