Nov 12, 2024 · I have been following these guys since they released the tune and have seen some great results, a true 50-50 power split is shown on a dyno graph on their website before and after tuning. I also saw a tuner in south Africa use the software to get his car from a 10.1 sec quarter mile to a 9.9 using only the software.

Jul 25, 2020 · Been looking around different tuners and MRC Tuning has caught my eyes as I’ve heard a lot of good reviews. I’ve got 67 plate Golf R MK7.5 and looking to go stage 1. Has anyone recently got their car tuned there and what was the price if you don’t mind me asking? How does it drive now compared to stock? Appreciate those who reply in advance.

Jun 9, 2017 · Running Stage 1+ as well as the TCU tune on the R. No issues, the car feels like stock until you punch it. The power comes on in a very linear fashion and pulls strong all the way to red line. I like the option of being able to load the tunes in the comfort of your own home.

Dec 28, 2016 · The fuel is sufficient to max the turbo power wise both for a R and a GTI. If the car is run like this for a sustained run the ECU will throw a lean code Sensor 1 Bank 1 and the JB4 will default to map 4.

Sep 27, 2018 · Mike, I also have an 18 manual Golf R and am waiting for one of the following: Option 1:United Motorsports will be releasing their time for the 18s any day now. It will have no lift shift and launch control. Additionally I'M offers their flex kit so you can run E85 variations. The only box it doesn't check is tuning from home.

Jun 11, 2019 · Having previously had 2 MkV GTI's with fully loaded APR stage 1 tunes (program switching via cruise control buttons), I'm starting to investigate what options are available for tuning my Golf R that I've had for about 6 months. I may very well decide to play it safe regarding the warranty and try the JB4. But I also might just flash it.
