Oct 18, 2024 · My truck has mostly been loaded since my hunt last weekend. Sighted in a 350 legend Saturday. Will load the cowboy lever in .35, my traditional companion, and some food, beverages, and a bit more clothing and I should be good. Well I will have to brew some coffee and fill Pop's thermos for an early Christmas morning commute.

Dec 24, 2024 · Looks like some fine eating going on today. Those rib roasts especially. Mrs B has been cooking all day, turkey breast, broccoli casserole, dressing, deviled eggs, and we had ham, Rancho beans, tater salad left from yesterday.

Dec 24, 2024 · Y'all we tried a new twist on Mama's fruit cake. Exact same recipe, just baked in loaves. Just as delicious, but the top has a crunch! We were trying to see how they would turn out to share with people. Easier to give a loaf than try to give slices of a cake.

Flats fishing maybe a popping cork like Cajun Thunder some gulp type baits and maybe some top water type plugs. Jigheads too. Or perhaps a new rod and reel combo.
