Welcome to my interactive map of Hollow Knight that I assembled from hundreds of thousands of screenshots. It involved a lot of draw-over and correction, resulting in a very detailed map that is zoomable to gameplay-view. I started it in August 2017 and finished it in February 2023.

Hallownest is the location where Hollow Knight takes place. Once a thriving kingdom in the middle of a wasteland, it has fallen into ruin in the wake of the Infection. The land of Hallownest covers a vast network of caves and tunnels in the middle of a wasteland. They are inhabited by both sentient and wild bugs, among other creatures.

Current version is Forgotten Crossroads, showing only areas available before defeating False Knight. Versions with Infected variant and more are planned for later. Please note that there is a small mistake in the City of Tears map that I am planning to fix in a future update. This message will disappear once it’s fixed.

Feb 26, 2023 · Recently, u/TheEmbracedOne finished their 5.5 year project: creating an interactive Hollow Knight map that can be zoomed-in to gameplay level (see this post). I downloaded and stitched all the separate images together to form a massive JPEG file at max zoom level, for your enjoyment!
