Educate me on the similarites/differences of model 37/87
Aug 29, 2007 · Ithaca Acquisition Corp. (Model 87's) moved from the original Ithaca factory in 1989 to King Ferry. There are many Model 87's that were made in King Ferry. When Ithaca Gun Co., LLC took over in 1995, the Model was changed back to 37 with the "M" prefix on serial #.

Mar 14, 2011 · What's the difference between a Model 37 or a Model 87 anyway? The plan for this gun is to register it and have the barrel cut down, repark and add wood. Don't know that I want to cut a factory rifle-sighted barrel.
