I can't watch jtv. Their hosts are horrible and their presentations are cheesy. However, I do occasionally buy online. But you have to be careful. Some of the gold settings are the cheapest and flimsiest I've ever seen. A lot of what I've purchased has arrived with loose stones. I had my own jeweler fix a couple but returned others.

Dec 19, 2016 · I don't know who Meg is but I am surprised that Kim is gone. I remember her from the SAHTV days and she was with JTV for a long time. I think JTV let's some hosts go when their salaries get too high. I thought that was the case with Michelle Lau. To be honest, while I have my favorite show hosts, I don't really care whether any of the come and go.

Dec 9, 2014 · I have also noticed a few of the hosts leaving or not being on as much as they usually are. I really like JTV ~ their customer service people are awesome. I really enjoy watching Cheryl's shows ~ I typically don't go to sleep until very late and she is on Saturday & Sunday mornings at 1:00 central time.

Feb 1, 2024 · Robert is one of my favorite hosts, along with Scott. I enjoyed the show they had when it was the 3 guys (and sometimes Dawn) presenting jewelry. I enjoy Dawn too.

May 11, 2018 · Dawn is still with JTV. They do go through hosts quickly but they keep that small core of original hosts who were there from the beginning. Several of the hosts that JTV parted ways with are now with ShopLC. I assume that they let some of the good ones go when their salaries get too high. They keep costs down by keeping the payroll down.

Aug 1, 2022 · Today is her last show. She is one of the few down to earth hosts on JTV. She is going back to PA to be closer to her family and help take care of her Grammy. She talks about her a lot. She has actually done shows from PA while visiting her. Good luck to her, she really comes across as sweet.

thanks melmac1114 for the link to Nancy's photos - they are really great. And for the info on andesine. I think when I bought mine they were describing it on JTV as a feldspar and I think that's the family that includes sunstone which makes sense since Nancy's blog mentions that the sunstones in her photo contain copper and so does the gorgeous andesine she calls OOAK.

Nov 2, 2023 · Full disclosure, I do not watch JTV. However, I do see the social media posts from the many former hosts and vendors from QVC who are now affiliated with the jewelry channel. Such sad news about Amy losing her job. Were other JTV hosts released as well? It is such an odd time to reduce staff because of the biggest shopping season of the year.
