
Jay Adams - Wikipedia
Jay J. Adams (February 3, 1961 – August 15, 2014) was an American skateboarder. As a teen, he was the youngest member of the Zephyr Competition Skateboarding Team (Z-Boys). His spontaneous freestyle skateboarding style, inspired by ocean surfing, helped innovate and popularize modern skateboarding.

Jay Adams was born February 3, 1961. He began surfing at the age of four and shortly after that he began to skate. At 14, he became the youngest member of the Zephyr team and in ‘75 he was the first of the team to enter into the Del Mar competition, which won the team huge notoriety. [1]
