The nice thing about the Jetta is that it is a jack of all trades sedan where it has decent driving dynamics, decent interior, clean design, and decent economy. It's neither the best at anything in its segment, nor is it the worst, just good across the board.

Dec 9, 2018 · Hoping for some guidance here. I've got a 2014 Jetta TSI with the 1.8T, with 77,000KM. In the last couple of weeks (around the same time as temperatures starting to drop in my area), I've noticed that I sometimes have a jerky idle (jumps between 700-1200 RPM).

Jan 27, 2023 · I have a 2014 jetta TSI but i believe a lot of the same things apply. So as far as your oil dissapearing, turbo chargers use a little bit of the oil to work. The more you use the turbo the more oil gets burned. I would check the levels evey other time you fill your gas. I keep a small jug of oil in my trunk in case I need it.

Apr 29, 2023 · As someone who's had experience driving/owning (all 2017-2019) civic, corolla, mazda3, gt86, and a Jetta, You'd honestly be better off with almost any Japanese car for the same price. Disclaimer: not a VW hater. I loved VW when I was in highschool, and even considered getting one two years ago. I ended up getting a mazda3 while my gf got the Jetta.

I am considering the Neuspeed tuning module and a cold air intake. I also heard that Malone Tuning has a good package but idk if they have anything for newer TSIs.
