KI NO BI is a small-batch, artisanal gin with a Japanese heart. We use a high-quality rice spirit and local botanicals such as yuzu, lemon, sanshō pepper, ginger and gyokuro tea, all sourced at the peak of the season from producers we know and respect.

KI NO BI (“The Beauty of the Seasons”) is inspired by tradition and is distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto. Our gin is made in a recognisably dry style, but with a distinct Japanese accent. A fresh aroma of yuzu, and a thread of sanshō that lingers like a morning mist in a bamboo forest.

Ki No Bi Gin is the first release from the Kyoto Distillery! Unveiled in 2016, Ki No Bi Gin has been made using a rice spirit base, as well as a selection of botanicals including locally-sourced ingredients - the likes of yuzu, hinoki wood chips, bamboo leaves, green sansho and gyokuro tea.
