Mar 3, 2025 · Wang’s is best known for their Steamed pork buns XLB, the aforementioned steamed pork dumplings filled with soup. And they have their operation on display, as a Chef stands behind glass folding and pinching dumplings all throughout the day.

Wang's is a classic in the area, of course. The food is on par with notable restaurants like Dinesty, albeit with a smaller menu, smaller space, and cheaper prices. I think the XLB here is at best a 4/5, but I've had it be better or worse depending on when I visit. What Wang's is really known for is the shengjianbao, or pan fried pork buns.

Dec 16, 2024 · We noticed there was a new restaurant called Sushi Bay & Oyster Bar that opened in South Burnaby so we decided to check them out for happy hour because they had raw oysters for $1.50 each ! It has been awhile since I found raw oysters at this price (sad, I know ).
