Ku is the only remaining offspring of Kuro. An owl hatched in Swallow's Nest shortly after the death of her mother, and the revival of Nibel 's Spirit Tree, she grew up living a tranquil life with Ori, Naru and Gumo as her family.

May 23, 2020 · - We see ghost Ku right next to Ori when he makes his sacrifice. - There's no Ku on the pedestal and his not "taking care" of the Ori tree alongside Naru and Gumo. Does this mean that at some point in time of development Ku was ACTUALLY going to die?

Mar 26, 2020 · The tree where ori is from basically wiped out the main antagonist (dont remember her name) and since Ku is from the same species I'd guess that the light tree was slightly biased against owls, wheras ori saw exactly why those owls did what they did and took pity upon them.

You could switch between playing as Ori and playing as Ku, in addition to mounting them and playing as both. Levels could be designed around the two of you splitting up and solving puzzles (split-party dungeons have been done before in games, so why not here?)

Ori, Naru and Gumo are living happily after restoring the light, and raising Ku, the last hatchling of Kuro. But Ku longs to fly, a longing hampered by her malformed wing. Ori decided to remedy this with Kuro's feather, allowing the two to take flight.
