Nov 14, 2008 · Had the chance today to change the barometric pressure sensor on my LR4. She had thrown a MAP sensor code with CEL twice so I figured I would just go ahead and change it. DIY is as follows. First - Pull the motor cover off. Second - Release all 5 screw clamps on intake.

Mar 14, 2015 · Could be the MAP sensor. Check all the wiring to the MAF and MAP sensors for rodent damage. The MAP sensor is right behind the throttle body.

Mar 14, 2015 · I decided to proceed with the MAP sensor replacement myself as it seemed fairly straightforward. I will be doing the replacement this weekend. I cleared the code with the reader and it cleared the "Stored" code but it warned me that there was still an issue as the "Permanent" code was not deleted.
