Sep 1, 2017 · And for the sake of completeness, the L4D2 campaigns in order: Dead Center > The Passing > Dark Carnival > Swamp Fever > Hard Rain > The Parish. Cold Stream isn't really connected to anything, since it started out as a custom map.

Jul 16, 2018 · Speaking of campaign order, it bothers me that the default campaign list in L4D2 isn't sorted by L4D1 first, and THEN the L4D2. It also puts The Sacrifice right after The Parish, which is just wrong.

Jul 3, 2022 · There's a lot of notable differences between L4D1 and L4D2, but unless you want to experience the original feeling and slight differences in Gameplay that L4D1 has, there's no reason to buy it. Some campaign events play out differently in L4D1, many were turned into endless hordes in the L4D2 ports.
