
LNER Class V4 - Wikipedia
The London and North Eastern Railway Class V4 was a class of 2-6-2 steam locomotive designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for mixed-traffic use. It was Gresley's last design for the LNER before he died in 1941.

Oct 28, 2022 · While the chimney and tyres (the later from the failed previous V4 build) exist, an exact date for construction on No. 3403 'Highlander' is TBC but will be after the P2 is completed. -Opposite side added. -Post-WWII LNER Apple Green and BR Lined Black (both early and late) added. -Fixed one of the fusible plugs on the BR Black versions.

This reskin takes the LNER Raven A2 from Caledonia Works and puts it into a fictional BR Unlined Black. This reskin has two tender variants; one which has the BR Early Crest and the other which has the "British Railways" text on the side of the tenders.

This is the one that we were going to put through our paintshop to turn out in BR lined black as 61701 (The unofficial 'Bantam Hen') rather than the far more common LNER Apple green livery so often applied to Bantam Cock models.
