Feb 20, 2019 · The LTG Engine. Introduced in 2013 with the then-new Cadillac ATS, and also in the “Gen 8” Chevrolet Malibu, the “clean sheet” redesign of GM's “large” 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, the LTG engine was one of the most exciting developments to come along from GM!

The relatively complex ECU found with the LNF engine now seems rather elementary compared to that found with the LTG in the 2016 Camaro 2.0T. In fact, the logic in this ECU shares more in common with the newer ECUs found with Subaru’s FA20DIT engine that comes with the 2015+ WRX and 2014+ Forester XT.

Dec 20, 2024 · Very nice numbers, close to square, too For other readers' sake, max torque was 399 lb-ft. Torque falls off fairly quickly past 5k rpm, but I don't think that's unexpected with the LTG. Here's to hoping your engine will stay healthy with this tune

Jun 15, 2018 · It looks like LTG engines (from the ATS 2.0T and the Camaro) are available on Car-Part for ~$1500 with 20k miles or fewer, and controller kits are available from GM. It seems to be difficult to track down a matching manual transmission, but otherwise the prices on all of this aren't bad for a 275hp out of the box all aluminum 4 cylinder turbo.

Aug 19, 2021 · Has anyone tried reading a Regal TourX? I know the LTG E80 is supported on other platforms, and I have been dabbling with the one in my wife's 2.0T 18' Equinox successfully, but per HP Tuners supported vehicles list, it's not supported (yet).
