May 2, 2022 · Lance Storm stuck around in WCW until the bitter end, and found himself a part of WWE once it bought WCW. Notably, Storm was the first WCW star to invade a WWE show, showing up on a Raw in late May 2001.

In less than a year after joining WCW, Lance won the WCW US Championship 2 times as well as the WCW Hardcore Title. He also recorded the proudest moment of his career in August 2000, when his idol Bret "The Hitman" Hart made a symbolic passing of the torch to Lance Storm at a PPV event in their home country of Canada.

He stayed with ECW until 2000, then signed with World Championship Wrestling. In WCW, Storm won the United States, Cruiserweight and Hardcore Championships at the same time, renaming them as Canadian, 100 kg and Under Championship, and Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title.
