On the other hand, the Cult includes one of my favorite enemies in Dusk, the Leatherneck. I seldom see chainsaw murderers in ego-shooters and everything about the Leathernecks, graphics, audio, and attack pattern gives them that really cool 80s slasher vibe.

The trapdoor leads to a chamber containing a Leatherneck and a Mage. From this chamber, there is a ladder leading to a gate, guarded by a Possessed Scarecrow. The player must then interact with the gate to end the level, taking them to E1M3: Old Time Religion.

In this guide I will be breaking down the story of DUSK in chronological order, from E1M1 all the way to E3M10. I’ll explain the environments, make mention of important notes and events as well as add some theories at the end for certain parts.
