Feb 21, 2007 · The short answer, for me, is the newer Scheerhorn capo (different than the Scheerhorn/Flux mentioned by Bill), and the Bradley capo. We did an informal capo test at a Rob Ickes dobro clinic in the Bay Area a year ago last December, and those two capos received the most "thumbs up."

There are three main principles for capoing resophonic instruments. The first and obvious method is to slip something under the strings, lifting them up slightly. This type of capo is always made by hand because it has to fit the individual instrument.

Unlike other Dobro* capos that attach only to the strings, the Shubb clamps solidly to the neck to provide great tone. It uses the same patented locking action of our Shubb guitar capo, and it aligns by touching the fret, not by eye, making it fast and accurate.

Leno Dobro Capo. Very good capo for Dobro and,they are no longer being produced. It’s in very good shape and ,Leno capo works very good. my favorite for Dobro.
