Aug 2, 2007 · Most 4" of spring under lift require a 4 degree correction. If you lifted your jeep 2.5" you "may" not need to do a thing. The shims are placed under your spring perches, above your springs with the fat end of the shim facing the front of your jeep. So facing your front driver's side tire, the fat end is to your left.

Oct 24, 2019 · as you lift a jeep the track gets shorter. BUT careful here as making longer may cause binding. A 2 door stock at ride height is 95.6" C<>C. at 4.5 inch of lift this gets shorter more so in the rear since the arms rear are shorter. at 4.5 lift on the ground im at 97" now mostly rear is pushed back and that takes more changes to do that.

Jun 28, 2012 · The Jeep has 5.5" suspension lift, 1.25" BL, 35" tires, and AtoZ rocker guards with rock-sliders (I call it a step because I can use it to step in to the Jeep but he can't lol) He has bad knees and its a little of a struggle for him to jump in to the Jeep and we are looking in to options to make him getting in it easier.

I have checked all the control arm connections on the chassis and the axles. checked the track bars. got everything aligned and balanced. swapped tires thinking it might be the sidewalls rolling over and flexing. aired up and down.

Jan 8, 2015 · Kneel in front of your Jeep. Look at the trackbar and draglink and if they are not at the same angle you may want to rethink your setup. If you do not have an adjustable track bar and you lifted above 2.5" you may want to rethink your lift as well. If you could add some pictures of the front of your Jeep I am sure we could help you better.

Apr 9, 2012 · I wouldn't worry about it unless you find the Jeep wandering more than is comfortable for you. I wouldn't bother paying the $100 most will charge for an alignment if Toe is the only thing you will be changing - loosen clamps at both ends of the tie rod, and take a large crescent wrench or pipe wrench to the flatted spot on the tie rod.

Aug 15, 2014 · Flat towing a jeep on 31s should not be an issue, if its in good shape. when flat towing, transfer case in neutral, trans in park if auto, trans in gear if manual. Brakes on the jeep when being towed would be great! It is required by law in some states. backing up a towed jeep is difficult, and often ends in a bent tow bar. many use add on lights.
