Nov 3, 2024 · Bardstown-based Lux Row Distillers has just launched its Small Batch PX Sherry Cask Finish Bourbon. It begins with a four-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled from a mash of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley aged in 53-gallon new, charred oak barrels.

Lux Row Distillers revitalised bourbon with a recipe made from corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. The whiskey was allowed to mature for six months in French oak barrels. 75% corn, wheat and barley make up the mash for David Nicholson. The bourbon is filled into the barrel at 62.5% and matures there for at least 4 years.
