basically, the 325 is a nice car, but the m3 is truely superior in handling and performance. I say don't try to clone an M3, work with the 325 - that is and can be a great car. That's like slapping a Type-R sticker on your mom's teg or something..

Jul 14, 2005 · Considering only the E30, the 325I (I have one) is a larger dispacement 6-cylinder engine with single overhead cam and 170 HP. The M3, E30 has a four-cylinder, multi-cam, higher output engine; about 190 HP. The fenders are wider on the M3 and the suspension is tweaked for weekend road racing.

Dec 3, 2006 · But the i, currently, is making 25mpg with very conservative driving and the best overall made was 26.7mpg***8212;most likely due to the eta has old crusty injectors while the 325is has new 19# injectors. The overall real difference? The 325i is much snappier and loves to rev. The eta is shy and not very interested. Thanks.

Nov 30, 2014 · The M3 though feels like it is all or nothing all of the time, maybe it’s just the way Jack set it up. The 333i is definitely the hooligan of the bunch and is much better suited for long distances. The 325iS is the better balanced car and much better suited for everyday use.

Jun 24, 2019 · Some claim the evo2 to be the ultimate while others give the honors to the aluminium clad evo1, personal preference I guess. My take is with current pricing and the poor condition of many of these cars, you would be better off buying a car based on condition.

My 1995 325is has a TMS/Jim Conforti chip, an ECIS intake, and stock M3 exhaust. A good friend of mine drives a 97 328i with M3 exhaust and that's it. His car is much stronger off the line and at low-midrange rpm.

Oct 20, 2021 · It has advantages, weight and balance is something the E30 needs and the 4-pot gives it that. On a track where you can rev the bollox of it it is the engine to have. On the road the torque and noise of the straight 6 is what I preferred.
